Download and connect your Session to the GoPro app on your iPhone, Android, or Windows Phone. Check out our guide on how to get the app and your camera synced.
Select the HERO4 Session after tapping Connect your Camera in the main screen.
If there is a software update available for the Session, you will see a Software Update button.
After tapping the Software Update button, you will see the release notes as well as a legal disclaimer.
After agreeing to the disclaimer, your device will begin downloading the update and transferring to the Session camera. The camera’s display will read “Downloading Update”.
Your camera will automatically begin installing the update and restarting.
